Comedian Josh Wolf returns to Buffalo’s Helium Comedy Club for five shows from Feb. 16 to 18.
The Boston native started stand-up comedy as a teenager before moving to Seattle and finally Los Angeles. He quickly developed a talent as a comedy writer, working on the staff of the show “Yes, Dear.” After appearing on the 2006 season of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Wolf balanced his stand-up and writing gigs together.
Known for his appearances on the former late-night show “Chelsea Lately,” Wolf was a writer on the show as well. He has also written for shows like “My Name is Earl” and “Raising Hope,” while authoring the book, “It Takes Balls: Dating Single Moms and Other Confessions from an Unprepared Single Dad.”
In addition to his stand-up career, Wolf also hosts a weekly podcast, “Fairly Normal.”
Wolf will perform at 8 p.m. Feb. 16 and 7:30 and 10 p.m. Feb. 17 and 18 at Helium (30 Mississippi St.). Tickets range from $16 to $31. Helium also offers dinner packages from $64 to $84.
