NOCO Express has completed its overhaul of the former Mobile Station at the corner of Delaware Avenue and Amherst Street.
The gas station and convenience store also boasts a 24-hour Tim Hortons cafe serving a limited menu of takeout drinks and baked goods. Tim Hortons can be accessed inside the store or from the drive-thru.
The 24-hour store, at 2058 Delaware Ave., is the company's third location in the city of Buffalo. NOCO bought the property last year and took three months to remodel it inside and out. It increased the store's size to 2,400 square feet, adding 500 square feet of retail space.
The store has added fresh foods and convenience options, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner foods including its Nickel City line of pre-packaged sandwiches, salads, wraps and snack packs. It has also expanded its beverage offering to include a wider array of energy drinks, coffee drinks, flavored water and a dedicated craft beer section.
New fuel dispensers, lighting and a new gas canopy were installed outside. Fuel offerings have been expanded to include E-85, 87 and 93 octanes as well as diesel.
The store employs eight people.
The 80-year-old, Tonawanda-headquartered NOCO has 37 locations in the Buffalo-Niagara market.
