Riviera Theatre screens classics as part of 'Throwback Thursday'

The Debbie Reynolds musical "Singin' in the Rain," the Oscar-winning epic "Gone with the Wind" and the Orson Welles masterpiece "Citizen Kane" are three of the films that will be featured in the Riviera Theatre's "Throwback Thursday" film series.

Here's the schedule for the seven-week series:

Feb. 2: "Gone With the Wind"

Feb. 9: "Casablanca"

Feb. 16: "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

March 2: "Singin’ in the Rain"

March 9: "Citizen Kane"

March 16: "One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest"

March 23: "Funny Girl"

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and movies start at 7 p.m. at the Riviera Theatre (67 Webster St., North Tonawanda). Tickets are only $3 each; theater members attend for free. Fun packs are $10 each or a $7 upgrade for ticket holders and theater members and include a beverage, popcorn, candy and movie admission (not included in upgrade). Tickets are available at the Riviera Theatre box office, at World Hollywood Entertainment inside the McKinley Mall, online at rivieratheatre.org and at the door, if available.
