Radio 1230

Records: Canisius 13-9, 6-5. Rider 12-10, 5-6.

The Set-Up: Canisius is tied for fourth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in what figures to be a log-jam race for the third through eighth spots in the league. Rider starts four seniors but hasn't shown much improvement over last season, when it was 8-12 in the MAAC. The Broncs have lost five of their last six, including an 80-67 loss at Niagara Saturday.

O vs. D: Canisius has the second most efficient offense in the MAAC, ranks 32nd in the nation in three-point shooting (38.6) and seventh in the nation in assist rate. Rider has the third most efficient defense in the MAAC, stands second in shooting percentage allowed and is 52nd in the nation in three-point shooting percentage allowed (31.9).

Broncs to watch: Rider starts three 6-7 seniors in the front-court: Kahlil Thomas (13.5 ppg), Xavier Lundy (9.9) and Norville Carey (9.9). Carey is a grad-school transfer from Southern Mississippi. The point guard is freshman Stevie Jordan, who leads all MAAC starting point guards in turnovers. He had seven assists and no turnovers at Niagara.

No fouls: Rider doesn't want to get into foul trouble. The Brons are 334th in the nation in bench minutes.
