A touch of royalty will visit Darien Lake as Kings of Leon have scheduled a performance for Aug. 2. Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats are the scheduled openers.
The headlining Nashville, Tenn. rock group, which comprises three brothers and a cousin, doesn't have the strongest history of playing in the Buffalo area. The band canceled its 2011 stop in Darien due to health concerns over lead singer Caleb Followill's voice, and then canceled again in 2014 due to an injury suffered by drummer Nathan Followill in a tour bus accident.
