Newfane man stabbed in Boulevard Mall parking lot

A 47-year-old Newfane man was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of stab wounds to his arm and chest following a late afternoon altercation in the Boulevard Mall parking lot on Friday, according to Amherst Police.

The victim was reportedly approached in the parking lot just before 4 p.m. by two unidentified men described by witnesses as being in their 20s, according to police.

After the victim was stabbed, the two were seen driving off in a silver two-door sedan, according to Amherst Police.
