Buffalo police arrest Angola woman on multiple charges

Buffalo police late Monday arrested an Angola woman for possessing a controlled substance and an illegal inspection sticker.

Central District officers responded to the call just before 10:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Niagara Street, where they spotted a parked vehicle  in a 7-Eleven parking lot with a forged inspection sticker on the windshield. Officers said they also recovered two glass crack pipes and hypodermic needles from the vehicle.

Police arrested Merisa Cuevas, 36, of Angola and charged her with second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument; seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
