Protect your pet and save money at free rabies clinic

The Erie County Health Department is offering free rabies vaccinations to dogs, cats and ferrets Wednesday at the North Buffalo Community Center.

Any pet owners interested in having their pet vaccinated should bring their pet on a leash or in a carrier between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to the community center, located at 203 Saunders Road in Buffalo, off Colvin Boulevard and south of Kenmore Avenue. If possible, owners should also bring a copy of the pet's vaccination record.

The county is offering this free vaccination clinic and others held later this year in association with the Erie County SPCA, Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society and Medaille Veterinary Technology.
