There are guys who get on hot streaks, then there is Justin Bailey. The Sabres prospect was at another level recently.
Bailey scored for the seventh straight game Saturday night to help Rochester to a 3-1 victory in Hartford. The Williamsville native was not able to extend the streak Sunday when the Amerks visited Bridgeport.
Bailey's streak was the longest in the American Hockey League this season. He has boosted his stats to 17 goals and 27 points in 35 games. Bailey and Rochester teammate Nick Baptiste were tied for sixth in the AHL in goals.
The 21-year-old Bailey has one goal in nine appearances with the Sabres this season.
