Man arrested after allegedly cutting cheek of neighbor

A Buffalo man was taken into custody at his home in the first block of Gorski Street, off Clinton Street, on Thursday afternoon following an incident in which he allegedly cut the cheek of a female neighbor with a steak knife during an argument, according to Buffalo police.

Cornell Edwards, 44,  was arrested at about 2 p.m. and charged with a felony counts of second-degree assault and second-degree harassment, according to Buffalo police.

Police did not disclose if the victim sought medical treatment.
