Michael Billups, a much-arrested Buffalo man, and his wife, Nicole, were arrested during a raid on their Briscoe Street home last week, Erie County Sheriff's deputies reported announced Wednesday.
A stolen loaded.38-caliber handgun was found in the house during the raid, according to Alan Rozanky, chief of the sheriff's Narcotics Unit. That may mean federal charges against Billups, 37, as a felon in possession of a firearm, Rosansky said.
The raid, conducted by deputies and Buffalo police early last Friday morning, also turned up more than four ounces of cocaine and various drug paraphernalia in the house, deputies said,
Billups is in custody at the Erie County Holding Center without bail.
Michael and Nicole Billups, 47, are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of stolen property.
Nichole Billups is free on $50,000 bail,.
The raid, which came after an investigation of the alleged drug dealing, was staged after Erie County Judge Kenneth Case issued a search warrant.
