Sabres Prospects: Bailey, Rodrigues on hot streak

Any disappointment at returning to the Rochester Americans after a seven-game NHL stint wasn’t evident in Justin Bailey’s game.

The second-year pro had a two-point game in the Amerks 3-2 win in Toronto against the Marlies on Saturday. He extended his goal-scoring streak to a career-best five games during a six-game point streak, notching nine points (six goals, three assists) in that span.

Also having a standout second year is forward Evan Rodrigues, who has 11 points in his last 12 games (three goals, eight assists). During that time, Rodrigues had five-game point streak. His 23 points rank fifth among all Amerks skaters and he is now two goals and seven points shy of matching his rookie output.
