Former Buffalo Bills' head coach Rex Ryan's home is on the market.
The Orchard Park home at 50 Grand View Trail he shared with his wife, Michelle, was listed this week for $1.1 million.
Here's the listing, which includes photos. Amy Pfister, the broker from Realty USA, describes the hilltop home as a "premier lot with scenic views of the city ... most exclusive area in Orchard Park."
The house has all of the amenities one would expect from a NFL coach who earned a seven-figure salary.
In October 2016, Buffalo Magazine profiled the home and the interior designer that Michelle Ryan used – Peter Balistreri from Ethan Allen.
Built in 2004, the house has four bedrooms, five bathrooms with heated floors, a three and a half car garage, five fireplaces and a sun room. The finished basement features a full bar, wine cellar and doors outside to an in-ground pool with a hot tub and full outdoor kitchen.
“We decorated this one differently that we have our other homes. I really wanted everything to be casual and Peter (Balistreri from Ethan Allen) has done a beautiful job with the house. I think it’s beautiful,” Michelle Ryan told Buffalo Magazine.
This isn't the only home for sale in Western New York that was occupied by a key figure in national sports.
Patrick Kane, Chicago Blackhawks player and South Buffalo native, is selling his Hamburg home on Old Lake Shore Road for $3.2 million. And Mario Williams, former Buffalo Bills defensive end who now plays for the Miami Dolphins, is selling his Aurora home on Woodcrest Drive for $3 million. Both Kane and Williams' homes have not sold after being on the market for months.
