The Museum of disABILITY History will host a workshop about Tourette Syndrome and associated disorders Jan. 28.
Susan Conners, president and founder of the Tourette Syndrome Association of Greater New York State, will lead the workshop, which will be held in association with Learning Partners. Parents and educators will learn more ways to help young people with Tourette’s and related conditions offer encouragement and manage behavior. Continuing Education Units will be offered.
The workshop will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the museum classroom at 3826 Main St.; cost is $40 for professionals and parents, and $10 for students. There is an additional fee of $40 for those pursuing CEUs. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served. Wi-Fi will be available.
