The Buffalo Bills have hired Kelly Skipper as their new running backs coach.
Skipper, 49, spent the last two seasons in the same capacity with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After nine years of coaching at the collegiate level, he broke into the NFL as a tight ends coach with the Oakland Raiders in 2007. Skipper remained in that role through the 2008 season before moving to running backs coach from 2009 to 2014. He spent the next two seasons coaching running backs in Jacksonville.
Before moving to the pros, Skipper coached at UCLA (running backs and kickoff-return coach, 1998-2000; offensive coordinator, 2001-2002) and Washington State (running backs and special-teams coach, 2003-2006).
