Buffalo man charged with strangulation

A 41-year-0ld Buffalo man was arrested for strangulation early Sunday morning after he allegedly choked a woman, bit her and punched her in the head four days earlier.

The suspect, Robert L. Robinson Jr. of Brunswick Boulevard, was also charged with assault and harassment.

The victim, who was transported by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center for treatment after the attack, had a bite mark on the back of her neck, swelling and bleeding to her left eye, and a knot on the back of her head.
