LOCKPORT - A Niagara Falls woman was arraigned Friday in State Supreme Court on an indictment accusing her of injuring a Niagara Falls police officer Sept. 22.
Rashida Carpenter, 23, of Whitney Avenue, pleaded not guilty to three counts of second-degree assault and one count of resisting arrest. Details of the alleged assault were unavailable Friday. Carpenter is being held in the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $5,750 bail.
In another arraignment in State Supreme Court Friday, Daron C. Woods, 38, of Washburn Street, Lockport, pleaded not guilty to making three drug sales in Lockport on March 7, 10 and 18. He pleaded not guilty and was released on his own recognizance.
