Buffalo high school student arrested after student injured

A 17-year-old student was arrested at the Riverside Institute of Technology after allegedly knocking another student unconscious, following a classroom argument at about 1 p.m. on Monday, Buffalo police reported on Tuesday.

The victim, a male student who was allegedly punched repeatedly in the face in the hallway outside a classroom, was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of a possible concussion, according to Buffalo police.

The other student, a male, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree harassment, according to Buffalo police.

The school is located at 51 Ontario St.
