Father of two arrested on Leandra's Law violation at 6 a.m.

ROYALTON – A 37-year-old man was arrested Friday morning on a Leandra's Law violation that involved two children ages 2 and 10, reported the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Jeremy Doran, 37, whose address was not provided, was intoxicated at 6 a.m. when he showed up at the home of his estranged wife in Middleport. Doran left with the children in his vehicle and subsequently drove to another residence in the village, where he was arrested for DWI and driving with a suspended license, authorities said.

Doran was remanded to Niagara County Jail on $750 bail and is scheduled to appear in town court on Tuesday.
