Niagara Falls man finds racial slur scrawled on his car

NIAGARA FALLS - Someone scraped a racial slur into the doors of a man's car on Niagara Avenue, according to a city police report.

A 59-year-old man told Niagara Falls police Thursday he found "N----- go back to Buffalo" scrawled on his 2005 Jaguar, which was parked in the yard behind his home on Niagara near 9th Street.

Someone also slashed the vehicle's four tires and stole the car's gas cap, the man told police. Officers also found a substance, possibly bleach, had been splashed around the car's interior. The damage happened between about 7 p.m. Sunday and 10 p.m. Thursday, according to the police report.

Damage was estimated at about $1,200. The man also told police there has been other vandalism to his building since August, but he did not report those incidents.
