Sun Cuisines, Buffalo’s first Burmese restaurant, opens its Williamsville location on Dec. 20.
At 5759 Main St., Kevin and Stephanie Lin will be offering the same menu of black rice sushi, Burmese and Thai specialties, and Asian fusion dishes that have brought crowds to their original West Side location.

The Lins opened Sun’s first location, 1989 Niagara St., in 2010. In February, they added Sun Roll, a quick-service counter at EXPO, the food hall at 617 Main St.
Kevin Lin said he has applied for a temporary alcohol permit, but was not sure if it will be in force when he opens.
