BEMUS POINT - State police on Wednesday charged a Bemus Point man with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Troopers pulled over Thomas Stanton, 65, on Maple Springs-Ellery Road after he was observed driving erratically, according to authorities. Stanton failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested and taken to the Jamestown barracks.
He registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.20 percent. He was issued tickets for Ellery Town Court and released.
