St. Bonaventure women’s basketball has an early tip off Friday, but that likely won’t bother freshman Jalisha Terry.
The Bonnies’ 11 a.m. contest against Eastern Michigan (3-5) serves as her personal homecoming game. Terry’s hometown of Flint is roughly an hour away from the EM campus in Ypsilanti. (105.9 FM; ESPN3)
She returns to familiar surroundings fresh off earning Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors, following a three-game stretch where she averaged nearly 14 points per game – all wins by the Bonnies. She has set career highs for points in three of her past four games, including a 17-point effort Nov. 30 against Stony Brook.
Bona (4-4), however, looks to regroup following Tuesday’s 57-35 loss at Bucknell, the start of a two-game road swing that concludes Saturday at Toledo.
