Wilson House to reopen next spring under new ownership

WILSON - The Wilson House, a restaurant that operated in the Village of Wilson for decades until closing a year ago, has been sold and will reopen this spring.

Brian J. Hutchison, (CQ) attorney for the buyers, Christopher and Timothy White, said Wednesday that they plan some interior remodeling before restarting the business at 310 Lake St. "They're doing a little bit to freshen it up, but I wouldn't call it a full renovation because they do want to keep the nostalgia of the place," Hutchison said.

The Whites are brothers, and Christopher is co-owner of M.H. White Siding and Roofing Co. in Wilson. They bought the Wilson House Monday from Norbert H. O'Brien and Patricia B. O'Brien of Williamsville for $200,000. Timothy White said he and his brother have a third partner, Jon Pashong of Wilson.

The eatery is located in a cobblestone building that dates to 1844 and was originally a private home. It became a social club in the 1920s and a restaurant after World War II.
