Two Buffalo men face weapons charges after a traffic stop at about 2 a.m. Monday on Interstate-190, according to the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
Giorgio Williams, 23, and Carlos Boyd, 23, had a loaded handgun in the center console of their vehicle and neither had a pistol permit, the sheriff's office said. Both were charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm.
Williams, who was driving the vehicle, had four active driver's license suspensions. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and eight vehicle and traffic violations.
Both Williams and Boyd were scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday and were being held in the Erie County Holding Center.
