LEWISTON -- George Osborne, retired president of Artpark and Company, has been appointed the new chairman of the executive board of the Historic Lewiston Jazz Festival, celebrating its 16th year next Aug. 25-26.
Other appointees to the executive board include: Carol Calato, of Calato Manufacturing, first vice chair; Margaret Toohey, of the Lewiston Insurance Agency, treasurer; Kevin Montante, of Montante Solar, secretary; and Jeff Jordan, retired from the New York State Power Authority, operations director. New board of directors appointments include: Joe Certo, of Certo Brothers Distributing; Kathleen Neville, of Neville Consultants Inc.; Curt Stuart, of Stuart Sports; and Donna Elia Tomkins, of Sevenson Environmental Services.
The executive coordinator position has also changed hands to the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce, which is working with 360PSG of Amherst to design a new logo and website for the Jazz Festival.
Tony Zambito, a local musician and founder of www.jazzbuffalo.org, has been named the festival’s new music coordinator.
