Four firefighters injured in blaze

A fire on the city's East Side left four firefighters injured overnight.

The fire broke out at 1:23 a.m. in a vacant home at 92 Rohr St., which is near the Buffalo Museum of Science. It started on the first floor of the 2-and-a-half-story frame house before spreading to the second floor and eventually the attic.

No further information was available about the injured Buffalo firefighters, other than that their injuries are not life threatening.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were $90,000 in damage to the structure reported.
