Volunteers on Friday afternoon will be looking in Buffalo for a 29-year-old man reported missing to police last month in Kenmore.
Ryan M. Pettit was last seen near Ontario and Skillen streets in Buffalo's Riverside neighborhood on the afternoon of Nov. 17.
Volunteers are meeting at 1 p.m. at the Tim Hortons at 2207 Niagara St., near Ontario Street.
Pettit is 5-foot-9 and 155 pounds. He has short, light brown hair and blue eyes. He has a number of distinguishing tattoos: a black tattoo that reads "Tribal" on his right arm; a tattoo of "Veronica" on his chest; "Cameron" on his left wrist; the head of Jesus with thorns on his left shoulder blade; "RIP EJ" with a cross and flowers on his left arm; an American eagle and "Live Your Life Love Your Life" on his right arm.
He was last seen wearing a black wool jacket with a zipper, jeans and grey and white Nike sneakers.
Kenmore police are not involved with today's planned search.
