NORTH TONAWANDA - The Starry Night Theatre will present its 30th anniversary production of "A Christmas Carol," adapted and directed by L. Don Swartz, beginning on Dec. 8 and continuing Thursdays through Sundays until Dec. 18.
The show will be staged at Ghostlight Theater, 174 Schneck St. This year's production features a new set and minor changes, making this year's production "the best they have ever done," according to Swartz.
The Charles Dickens classic tells the tale of the bitter Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited on Christmas Eve night by three ghosts, sent by his late business partner Jacob Marley, to give Scrooge a chance at redemption.
Show dates are 7 p.m. Thursdays, Dec. 8 and 15; 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, Dec. 9, 10, 16 and 17; and 2 p.m. on Sunday Dec. 11 and 18. Tickets are $18 general admission and $16 for veterans, seniors and students. Tickets can be purchased at the theatre's website http://www.starrynighttheatre.com/ or by phone at (716) 743-1614.
