Tonawanda man admits to North Tonawanda robbery

LOCKPORT - A man who robbed a Dollar General store in North Tonawanda of $288 on Jan. 5 pleaded guilty Monday in Niagara County Court.

David P. Bush, 28, of Fletcher Street, City of Tonawanda, admitted to a reduced charge of attempted third-degree robbery. He faces up to four years in state prison.

Assistant District Attorney Kevin D. Canali said Bush stuck his hand in his pocket as if he had a weapon, but did not display one during the robbery at the store on Twin Cities Memorial Highway.
