Lake Shore Savings Bank honored Kris Nasal, senior staff accountant, and Peter Moll, Fredonia branch personal banker, as employees of the year, at a recent event at Statler Towers celebrating the bank's 125th anniversary. Nasal, a Forestville resident, joined Lake Shore in 2000. Moll, a Dunkirk resident, was hired by Lake Shore in 2012.

Orchard Park-based Curbell Plastics was recognized recently by the plastics industry organization, the International Association of Plastics Distributors, with a Gold Education Circle of Champions award for excellence in education and environmental responsibility. Keith Hechtel, senior director of business development, also received the organization’s President’s Award.
Mullican Flooring, which has a plant in Holland, has partnered with Scott Brothers Entertainment as the exclusive hardwood flooring provider for their new, four-episode HGTV show, “Brothers Take New Orleans." The company recently renewed its commitment as the exclusive hardwood flooring provider for the HGTV show, "Property Brothers."
Paddock Chevrolet in Kenmore presented the American Cancer Society with a $30,000 donation to fight breast cancer. Half of the donation was based on October revenue from vehicle sales, service and parts. The other half was donated by dealership owners Duane and Pamela Paddock.
