Two convenience store workers were arrested after police said they sold alcohol to minors during an enforcement operation Sunday at 18 stores throughout Niagara County.
Arrested were Mandi L. Printup, 35, of Middleport, an employee of Crosby’s on Telegraph Road in Middleport and Cecilia Silsby, 35, of Lockport, an employee of 7-11 on Park Avenue in the City of Lockport. Printup is due in Town of Royalton Court on Dec. 15 and Silsby is due in City of Lockport Court on Dec. 13. Both were charged with unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sales, both misdemeanors.
The other 16 convenience stores refused to sell to the underage buyers in a joint operation carried out by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police and the New York State Liquor Authority.
