Tonawanda man found unconscious with 100 needles faces drug, weapons charges

A City of Tonawanda man faces drug charges after officers found him unconscious in a bathroom when they were sent to the house on a “check the welfare” call early Friday morning.

Officers found Charles J. House, 44, unconscious in the bathroom, with heroin and over 100 needles on the floor of the bathroom. When he regained consciousness, he told officers “he just shot up,” police said. Officers located knifes, marijuana and Clonazepam pills on the floor of the residence on Schuler Avenue.

House was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of weapons.

He was charged and taken to the VA Medical Center for follow-up care.
