A Clarence man was arrested Wednesday morning by Orchard Park police after he drove into a roadside class of the Erie County Law Enforcement Training Academy.
Edward Ordian, 26, drove a car with tinted windows through a checkpoint on Big Tree Road as it was blocked off east of Abbott Road for a training class at about 11 a.m. He initially stopped as requested, but then drove off onto a nearby dead-end street, according to Orchard Park police officials
When asked to get out of his vehicle he refused and began physically resisting arrest, police said. He was charged with multiple traffic violations, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, unlawful possession of marijuana and failing to comply with a lawful order, according to police.
Ordian was released on $500 bail and ordered to return to Orchard Park Town Court in early December.
