NIAGARA FALLS - Music and holiday cheer will start at City Hall and spread to all of Niagara Falls aboard the Holly Trolley on Dec. 2.
The City of Niagara Falls tree lighting will be held from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Dec. 2, in the lobby of City Hall, 745 Main St., with refreshments provided by Hard Rock Cafe.
After the tree lighting, the Holly Trolley will travel to neighborhoods with riders invited to sing holiday songs. The trolley will leave City Hall at 5:15 p.m., stop at Gill Creek Park at 5:20 p.m.; Tom Barber Park, next to Foley's at 5:55 p.m.; drive through LaSalle Waterfront Park and Hyde Park; stop at 6:45 p.m. in Highland Community Park; at 7:15 p.m. at Columbus Park on Pine Avenue; at Schoellkopf Health Center at 7:35 p.m., drive around the Niagara Tourism and Convention Center; stop on the middle block of Old Falls Street at 8 p.m.; and then return to City Hall. At each stop the trolley will accept donations of checks and unwrapped toys for the Niagara Falls Firefighters Toy Fund, as well as non-perishable food items, hats, gloves, scarves, soap and shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes.
