Man loses $4,000 when wallet, jacket stolen at Seneca Niagara Casino

NIAGARA FALLS - A thief stole an Ontario man's  jacket and wallet containing $4,000 Thursday morning on the floor of Seneca Niagara Casino, according to a Niagara Falls police report.

The victim told police he was playing a slot machine at about 9:30 a.m. and left his jacket over the back of a chair when he walked about 50 feet to talk with a slot attendant. The man's wallet, which contained more than $4,000 in American and Canadian currency, was inside the jacket.

When he returned to the slot machine, the jacket was gone. He described the thief as male, but was unable to give police any further description.
