Jeffrey A. Bykowicz, welder and outdoorsman

Jeffrey A. Bykowicz, of Kenmore, a welder, died Nov. 7 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a long illness. He was 54.

Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Grand Island High School.

He was a welder at HDM Hydraulics in the Town of Tonawanda and worked at Liftgate and Speedways Conveyors.

Active in St. Amelia’s Catholic Parish in the Town of Tonawanda, Mr. Bykowicz enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and was an avid fan of the Bills, Sabres and Boston Red Sox.

Survivors include two daughters, Annmarie Benk and Jessica; and three sisters, Barbara Barbur, Carol Rae and Patricia Turner.

Services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls.
