Three community briefings will be held to discuss improvements at the Crane and East Delavan branches of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library.
On Tuesday there will be a community briefing to discuss East Delavan branch improvements. The project includes a new handicapped-accessible elevator to allow better access to lower-level meeting space and the restrooms. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the East Delavan Branch, 1187 East Delavan Ave.
Speakers include Lovejoy Common Council Member Richard A. Fontana and representatives from the City of Buffalo Department of Public Works, Buffalo Arts Commission, Clark Patterson Lee Architecture and Engineering, and Buffalo and Erie County Public Library
There will be briefings on the Crane Branch Library at 11 a.m. Nov. 29 and 6 p.m. Dec. 1 at the library, 633 Elmwood Ave. The proposed project includes plans for an accessible and multi-use community space, a handicapped-accessible elevator, family-friendly restrooms and integrated modern technology.
Speakers will be representatives from Kideney Architects and the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library.
