Alton Ingram of Dunkirk is the Prep Talk Football Player of the Week. He finished with 28 carries for 224 yards and three touchdowns on offense, and 15 total tackles on defense, for the Marauders on Saturday. That helped Dunkirk win its first Section VI football title, defeating Cheektowaga – the top-ranked team among small schools in The Buffalo News poll - in the Class B final. Cheektowaga had won the previous two Section VI titles.

At the end of the season, the selection committee will choose the finalists from all of the weekly award winners, and those finalists will be invited to the year-end banquet.
