Nov. 12 – Niagara River Gulls tour with Buffalo Audubon at the NYPA Fishing Platform in Lewiston from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. View thousands of Bonaparte gulls from this unique vantage point. Preregistration required at 585-457-3228. Binoculars are available.

Nov. 13 – New and improved Sporting Clays Course reopens at the Tonawandas Sportsmen’s Club, 5657 Killian Road, Pendleton starting at 10 a.m. There will be a “Come and See Shoot” throughout the day. Cost is $25 per man. Shooting will take place at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and, if necessary, 2:30 p.m.

Nov. 15 – Niagara County Chapter of SCOPE will be moving its November meeting to a different night because of Election Day. It will be held at the Wilson Conservation Club, 2934 Wilson-Cambria Road, Wilson starting at 6:30 p.m. They will be hosting a “Faith, Family, Freedom” forum using an educational constitutional freedom format with three guest speakers. Nov. 19-20 - Deer and Bear checking station will be open from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The station is located along Route 16 in Holland (Erie County). You may also drop off deer for the Venison Donation Coalition before 6 p.m. either day.
Nov. 22 – WNY Chapter of Trout Unlimited will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Donovan American Legion Post, 3210 Genesee Street, Cheektowaga.
