TOWN OF NIAGARA - Three new members have been added to the board of directors of Empower, the not-for-profit organization formerly known as Niagara Cerebral Palsy.
They are Ryan Boggs of Niagara Falls, Alice Kozen of Grand Island and Ernest C. Palmer of Lewiston.
Boggs is a physical therapist at Advanced Care Physical Therapy; Kozen is an associate professor of education at Niagara University; and Palmer is the former Niagara Falls and Youngstown police chief and a former member of the Lewiston Town Board.
Empower has 300 employees and a $14 million budget. Its administrative offices, preschool, community clinic and service coordination program are located on Lockport Road in the Town of Niagara. The job training and day programs division is based in Niagara Falls, while residential facilities are located throughout Niagara County.
