Pennsylvania man charged with armed robbery of Niagara Falls convenience store

NIAGARA FALLS - Police charged an Allentown, Pa., man with robbing a Pine Avenue convenience store early Wednesday morning.

Reinaldo J. Vazquez-Felix, 30, is accused of displaying a knife and demanding the money in the register at the 7-Eleven at 1504 Pine, according to a Niagara Falls police report. The robbery happened at about 1:20 a.m.

Vazquez-Felix wore a mask and had his hood up when he entered the store, an employee told police. He took the knife out of a backpack before he approached the employee behind the counter, according to the report.

Before he fled, he also took cigarettes and other items from behind the counter in addition to the cash.

Police took Vazquez-Felix into custody on Pine near 16th Street and found the knife in the 600 block of 16th Street, according to the report.
