A 77-year-old man has been charged with shooting his son during a domestic disturbance in Elma on Wednesday, according to the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
Thomas Manuszewski has been charged with shooting his son in the chest in a Clinton Street home just before noon, the sheriff's office said.
The son, whose name was not released but was identified as being 39 years old, is in stable condition in Erie County Medical Center, according to the sheriff's office.
Manuszewski was charged with assault with intent to cause serious injury, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing. He's being held in the Erie County Holding Center and is due in Elma Town Court at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
