Buffalo man accused of stabbing woman during argument over money

Juma Kashindi , 22, of Germain Street, stabbed a Grote Street woman in the leg while they were arguing over money in his flat, according to Buffalo police.

Kashindi was arrested was arrested late Tuesday night on Grant Street about a block from his house.  As police began to question him he fled, but was quickly captured, according to an arrest report.

He was charged with a felony count of second-degree assault and obstruction of governmental administration. His victim was treated for the stab wound.
