Alden 35, Burgard 18
Christian Snell ran 80 yards to open the scoring and added a 33-yard run and a 34-yard scoring pass to Josh Chester for the Alden Bulldogs in the battle of the Bulldogs. Calloway passed to Riley for both Burgard Bulldogs scores. Alden finished 6-3. Burgard dropped to 4-5 after the clash of Class B teams.
Grand Island 33, Kenmore West 0
Cam Sionko threw two touchdown passes to Zane Johnson and caught one himself from Connor Buzby in the Vikings' victory. Jim Thorpe ran for two GI touchdowns, one from 40 yards. Grand Island (6-3) scored 21 points in the second quarter to take charge after a scoreless opening period.
Williamsville South 13, Williamsville North 12
Elijah Zells kicked his second field goal of the game, from 26 yards, in the fourth quarter to win it for the Billies. Leading by three, South took a late safety to put the football out of harm's way. Zells kicked a 30-yarder in the second quarter, the only scoring in the first half. Each team had a touchdown pass in the third. Joe Nusall hit Jairus Huggins on a 22-yard play for North then South's Antwanne Jones ended up scoring on the hook-and-ladder play that originated on a pass by Josh Foster to Chris Nelson. Eddie Bianco of North kicked a 35-yard field goal to tie the game at 10 before Zells' game-winner. Jones had 113 yards rushing for South. Jack Steinmetz had 10 tackles for the Billies, who got three sacks from Jemelle Jones and one each by Shaq Rolle and Ethan Stewart.
Wilson 27, Tonawanda 18
Justin Daul (17 for 28, 128 yards), passed for three touchdowns, ran for 47 yards on nine carries and made six tackles on defense for the Lakemen. Tonawanda struck first when Ritter returned a fumble 27 yards in the second quarter, but Wade Rick returned the following kickoff 80 yards. The Warriors led again after a 25-yard run by Ethan Shattuck (13 carries, 69 yards), but Daul passed for three unanswered scores. Zach Sajak (20 carries, 116 yards) ran 30 yards in the fourth quarter for a Tonawanda touchdown. Drew Westmoreland had a TD reception and an interception for Wilson.
