NORTH TONAWANDA -- Dementia experts will be available to answer questions that arise from a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia from 5 to 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month at the North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Drive.
It’s part of the Alzheimer’s Association of Western New York Chapter’s outreach program.
Alzheimer’s Association social workers are also available to discuss future needs during private care planning sessions at this time. Those diagnosed with dementia, their care partners and their families are welcome to discuss care plans, information about local resources, managing behaviors and overcoming day-to-day challenges.
Reservations are required for these private, no-cost consultations by calling 1-800-272-3900. For more information, visit: alz.org/WNY.
