LOCKPORT - State Police charged a Lockport woman with drunken driving on Sunday after they said she had a blood-alcohol content of 0.20 percent.
Troopers pulled over Kelly A. Heim, 26, on Beattie Avenue for passing a vehicle in a no passing zone. Heim failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest, State police said.
At the Lockport barracks, Heim gave a breath sample that was 2 1/2 times the legal limit, according to police. Troopers charged her with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI, speeding and driving to the left of pavement markings. They issued her tickets for an upcoming appearance in Lockport Town Court.
The time of the incident was not included in a news release.
