One woman was injured following a two-vehicle, rollover accident Saturday morning in the Town of Niagara, a town fire official said.
A Chevrolet pickup and a Buick sedan were involved in the crash that took place at 10:17 a.m. at the intersection of Joanne Circle South and Woodland Avenue in the town, said Fire Chief Dan Hosie of the Town of Niagara Active Hose Co.
The pickup rolled over onto its side and firefighters had to use a window saw to cut through the front windshield to help the male driver get out, Hosie said.
The man, who was about 30 years old, was not injured.
The woman driving the sedan appeared to suffer rib injuries but was in stable condition when she was taken by Mercy EMS to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, Hosie said.
Town of Niagara police are investigating the crash. Further information on its cause wasn’t immediately available.
