WEBER - Jill Age 77, of Brookline, formerly of Snyder, NY and New York City died on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 after a long illness, daughter of Beatrice (Hartman) Weber and the late Alfred Weber; loving mother of Jennifer Radler of Chicago, IL, and James and Katherine Radler of Winnetka, IL; fond grandmother of Claire, Peter and Charlotte of Winnetka, IL; dear sister of Bill and Suzi Weber of Brookline; aunt of Rebecca and Matthew, and great-aunt of Amelia and Leon; cousin of Robert Kaplow and Richard Kaplow. Jill attended Cornell University and received her Master's degree in Architecture from SUNY Buffalo, in addition to studying in Florence, Italy. Marketing Director for Jung Brannen Architects of Boston from 1983 to 1990. Jill then embarked on a career as an artist, immersing herself in her student work at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She won the 2004 Maud Morgan Prize from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and one of her works is in their permanent collection. She had successful gallery exhibitions in Boston, New York, and Buffalo. She was a member of the artist-run Bromfield Gallery in Boston. Jill was a strong supporter of the Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline. Services were held in Massachusetts on Friday, October 21.
