North Tonawanda woman pleads guilty in motorcycle theft

LOCKPORT - A North Tonawanda woman pleaded guilty in State Supreme Court Thursday to her role in the April 30 theft of a motorcycle from Bob Weaver Motorsports on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Wheatfield.

Amanda A. Flanagan, 29, of Eddy Drive, faces a sentence of as long as four years in state prison when she returns before Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. Dec. 16. She also will owe half of a $10,000 restitution tab.

Charges remain open against her co-defendant, Steven L. Carney, 25, of Eddy Drive, who also faces charges in connection with the Jan. 5 robbery of a 7-Eleven store on Plaza Drive in Wheatfield.

Flanagan has been in the Niagara County Jail since May, and that time will count toward her state prison term.
